Coming May 1, 2010 the fight between Floyd Mayweather vs Shane Mosley on the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada. Pretty much sums up that floyd will be the one on top. Many think that Mayweather's defense and movement will stop Mosley from getting a hit and that Mayweather's counter punches will get him that victory.
From my own observation, Mosley should go out hard early in the fight because he is big and powerful in the welterweight class. Mosley is already 39 if a fight with Pacquiao pushes through, but 39 is very old for a fast fighter but there is some chance.
However, I don't think that with him fighting against Manny Pacquiao. Mosley would be as a difficult opponent for Mayweather.
The danger that Mayweather poses to Pacquiao is that Mayweather has excellent defense and also a good at counter punches, however we know and saw that Mayweather can struggle if pressured and might be too afraid to exchange punches with Pacquiao and might end up getting knocked out. Maybe Floyd is too nervous to fight and tarnishing his zero loss streak, or he can fight Pacquiao.
Everyone witnessed the Pacquiao vs Clottey and that Pacquiao can be hit by slow fighters, but in the Mayweather vs Mosley fight, Mosley is quite fast and lands powerful punches as well. The case with Pacquiao, if somebody attacks the Filipino champ, then they are at risk of getting themselves knocked out but the difference between Mosley that he has been fighting bigger fighter than Pacquiao and that his toughness has been building up.
Pacquiao has big chances in winning these fights between Mayweather and Mosley, he can use his speed and power to dominate the fight. One thing is for sure that this fight will be one of the greatest.
