Pacquiao vs Mosley prediction
Manny Pacquiao has been declared as the Pound-for-Pound champion in boxing, for the last 6 years he has been jumping one step to another from super featherweight to welterweight and hasn't lost since. He has been defeating opponents like Oscar De La Hoya, a 2 round KO of Ricky Hatton, and the likes of Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito.
Shane Mosley hasnt been active for quite a while since his last fight against a close fight to Cotto and lost to Mayweather.
Discussions have been going on around to who will win this fight, Pacquiao or Mosley? Even if this fight isnt the fans have been asking for it will still be worth to watch, why? Its because there is no other fight that is bigger than this one. Mosley was being ranked as the top 5 potential opponents for Manny Pacquiao which is now true and will be held this May 2011 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.
All in all, I wouldnt say final conclusions yet but here's my analysis.
If Mosley was on his prime today he would be on the top. He has the experience and went a lot with great fighters. But his opponent is different, Pacquiao is fast and moves a lot, not the same as what Mosley was fighting before. Mosley is a big target but Pacquiao is smaller and would be receiving a dense punch from Mosley. It may be impossible for Pacquiao to KO Mosley but certainly I see it as the same fight with Cotto, Clottey and De La Hoya.
